2016 marks the first year of the next exciting decade for GEO, and its continued support of informed decision-making through coordinated, comprehensive and sustained Earth observations, information and services. GEO Initiatives support global, regional and national development programmes, as well as disaster risk reduction, protection of biodiversity and efforts to mitigate climate change. The GEO-XIII Plenary in St. Petersburg will highlight global collaboration in each of these areas, and showcase GEO's important role in supporting communities in their efforts to help measure and monitor the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Global Agenda.
The FIDUCEO poster will be on display at the GEO-XIII Exhibition. The GEO-XIII Exhibition will take place from 8 to 10 November 2016 on the second floor of the Park Inn by Radisson Pribaltiyskaya hotel.
